It's perfect for hardcore players, although even some casual players can enjoy this game. Since it has "combat racing" in the name, you know there are gonna be moments of rage, relief and most of the time it's pretty tense and butt-clenching.The array of cars you can choose and tracks you can race on is pretty nice, it takes some time to learn the optimal route and by that, you can gain some advantage against your opponents. The tracks are not just roads going through different settings, you have the freedom to go into more not-so-obvious paths which feel really good.Be sure to learn the controls, how to reset, jump or charge targets (trust me, it's super useful everywhere, not everyone realizes that).If I should point out some drawbacks, it's the learning curve, it's not an easy game to master. Even if you think you're pretty good, the AI can punish you pretty bad, that's why I said it's not really a game for casual players. There are little things like the camera that sometimes don't want to cooperate or sudden physics mishaps, but nothing major.There were only a few racing games that I played for a longer time in my life, but this is definitely one of them and it looks I still have a quite a few hours ahead of me.. This game is awesome! For all players who loves fast and thrilling races, then Grip is your game. You driving heavy metal beasts with a speed of atleast over mach 1, where you can beat your opponents with a wide range of weapons (every weapon can be charged to get a boosted version of it. That unlocks in higher ranks or in MP.You can choose of 15 different cars, which are customizable in things like: color, rims wheels and sticker. You cant change the engines or stuff like that, but thats pretty fair, when it comes to MP, so there is no P2W its all abot skill at least.The soundtrack fits nice to the industrial scenery of grip and the engine sounds are not anyoing!i play this game now for over 2 years (early accesss) and i must say i am not getting bored to come back to this great game. The team of caged element did such a good job and they aren\u00b4t getting tired to do alot of updates for this game and aswell bonus racetracks for free!The community of grip is nice and friendly aswell. So you maybe should chek that out by using discord!So Grip is an absolutly recommended racing title.. Good game but a bit too challenging.Everything about this game is good, driving, music, action etc. However when you drive with 1000km\/h into an obstacle or fall off the course you loose too many places, especially if some AI ram you off into the same pit again. this is frustrating since one tiny error means you loose. Something the devs might want to look upon.A valuable addition could be more customisation (parts) on the vehicles. I'm very happy with this game. I have very fond memories of Rollcage and when I discovered GRIP I got very excited.Did my research, bought it and have not been disappointed.Only used single player to date but that is enough to get a helluva kick out of the game.. No multiplayer.. Having grown up playing Roll Cage Stage 2 I was very skeptical of a game that could be considered a remake. After toying with the idea of buying the game for a day or two i decided to bite the bullet and pick up the game. I was stunned by how this game blew my expectations out of the water. The game is phenomenal!!! There are a couple reasons1. The physics are very well done (you don't feel like it is a struggle to play)2. Game play visuals and effects are very clean and crisp3. Even though the game features upside down and sideways driving it is not overwhelming4. A longer campaign allows for multiple hours of continuous play time5. Multi player works very well and can make for some crazy and fun timesLastly this is ONE OF THE ONLY games that has its own discord for fans to share content and DIRECTLY work with the dev team to fix bugs or glitches. NOW THAT IS A GAME COMPANY THAT CARES ABOUT IT'S PLAYERS!!!. Every once in a while I come across a game that captivates my attention, and even more rarely, one that keeps it. Grip got me hooked from the start. I had been searching for a multiplayer racing game that was intense, competitive, dope, and fun, and I found it with Grip. I had this on my wish-list for a while and every time I got an email notification that something was on sale I'd quickly check to see if it was Grip. When I finally did see it on sale I was ecstatic. I was able to snatch it for $20.Right from the start you're thrown into a cyberpunk-like wasteland of fast tracks and rocket cars, with the drum n' bass keeping tempo with the speedy pace of the race. Battling it out with your opponents is such a rush. There's a wide array of weapons you can pick-up, each requiring a specific skill to be able to pull off correctly against your opponent. You've got that going while also trying to stay on the track that throws you in every possible direction imaginable. Learning the tracks and the alternative routes is a major component to being able to master the game. Some routes will send you through a path that have a shorter distance, more weapon pickups, or boosts, and others will take you longer to get to the finish line. Overall there is a lot to take in that makes this game challenging and gives it a competitive edge.The only downside to this game is that there aren't many people online. Finding a match in multiplayer can often be difficult. The good thing is that the game has a link to their discord server right in the multiplayer menu tab. Here you will be able to see what others are up to and can join and organize matches. The devs are on there and they're pretty active along with the community, and they're always giving updates which is pretty stoke. Overall this is a dope \u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665ing game and we need more people on it. So get on it, and I'll see you on there.. Here is an idea, pick up a physics book and read some of those equations in it. Go for an advanced driving course and see what happens when certain things get done to a car. Not saying this is a game that aims for realism, but starting a race 20 times or more in a row is getting really old now... and dont think changing your car will help with these things.The opponents tap a small corner of a car -> you end up in a flat spin and cant do\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665about it. You hit an obstacle slightly wrong, you wont deflect, you will spin out. I dunno seems strange to me.Fun arcade game when you get the correct track settings after restarting the race 20 times.\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665 this\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665 now all the enemies shoot at you 400m before the finish line and you encounter some random bump on the road when you are upside down that knocks you from first to 9th. Respawn point place you at the back of the group cause you flew off into the distance since the forced respawn is implemented like\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665at times.. I was a big fan of Rollcage 1 and stage 2. So i had to grab this when it was announced. It did not dissapoint when it was time to pump the game full off gametime. If Mario cart isnt fast enough for you and Wipeout doesnt have enough wheels in it. Get this!
